Know what to expect before you talk

How Our Network Works for Homeowners

Who You Talk To

You talk to an independent provider in the network. It is a local business with its own staff, schedule, and prices. Composedmade Septic makes the introduction. The provider does the work and agrees to the terms with you.

What Happens After You Reach Out

Here is the usual order:

1. First, you share the basics: your general area, what you have noticed, and when it began. 2. Next, a provider asks follow-up questions. Expect questions about drains, smells, wet spots, and when the tank was last pumped. 3. Then, the provider explains the likely next step. That might be a visit, a pumping, or a camera look at the line. 4. Finally, you decide whether to book. You can say no.

Request a callback to check provider availability. Timing depends on the provider and the season.

What to Ask a Provider

Keep this list handy:

  • Do you serve my area?
  • What is the likely cause, and what else could it be?
  • What does the first visit include?
  • Can I get a written quote before work starts?
  • What could change the price?
  • Do you offer emergency septic cleaning if the tank backs up?
  • Can you help with drainfield repair or water well service, or only pumping?
  • Will you help document damage if I file an insurance claim?

Details Worth Having Ready

A few notes make the first talk smoother:

  • Tank location, if you know it
  • Date of the last pumping
  • Any basement drain backups
  • Recent heavy snow, hard freeze, or spring melt

You Are in Control

You can compare more than one provider. You can ask for the plan in writing. You can pause if something feels rushed. Composedmade Septic does not pressure you, and a request creates no obligation.
